Henry Frank Hubbard was born November 23, 1917 in Canton, Texas. He is the first born son of William Walton Hubbard and Lula Mae Beard Hubbard, and had two siblings, Gracie V. Hubbard and Warren "Jenks" Hubbard. He attended his early school years in Abilene and Eastland, Texas, graduating from Humble High School of Humble, Texas in 1934.
